About Tabitha

A founder member of the Vajrasati School of Yoga, Tabitha Tarran has been teaching yoga for over a decade, and is known for her calm, balanced approach with an emphasis on mindfulness and alignment.

As a qualified physiotherapist and member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, Tabitha also brings to her classes a rich knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics. In addition, she is registered with the Health Professions Council, has trained in sports massage and as an APPI Pilates class instructor.

Tabitha has a particular interest in women's health, and is qualified to teach both pre and post-natal yoga, having trained at foundation level with Francoise Freedman of the Birthlight Trust.

As well as teaching in South West London and the Brighton area, Tabitha runs yoga holidays in Spain, Crete and Turkey.
She is also available for individual and small group bookings, which can be tailor-made to include pre and post-natal yoga, posture retraining and modified pilates (which is particually suitable for the rehabilitation of chronic backpain).

As a physiotherapist, Tabitha provides appointments for individuals requiring rehabilitation after surgery, illness or injury. Appointments are available at the River Clinic in Lewes on Tuesday afternoons. Other days may be possible subject to availability.
